PEEKSKILL FENCING CENTER

Fencing is a sport that can be learned and enjoyed at any age.  Fencing develops balance, agility and coordination.  The physical demands of fencing increase gradually as you learn the particular movements needed for the sport.  Generally, if you can climb a flight of stairs without difficulty, you should be able to learn to fence.  (You should consult a physician before embarking on any new exercise program.)

Please wear comfortable clothing like sweats and sneakers.  In case of rain please bring a dry pair of shoes with you to class.

Monday

 Beginners foil 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Intermediate foil:  7:00 - 8:00 pm

Tuesday

Beginners Foil   6:00- 7:00 pm

Intermediate Foil 7:00- 8:00 pm

Open Bouting @ 8:00 pm

Thursday

Beginners Foil   6:00 - 7:00 pm

Junior Olympic 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Peekskill Fencing Junior Olympic Program with Max Catala Starting at 7 pm and is a premium program.  Please speak with Alex or Max for pricing.

Open Bouting Practice in

conjuction with Westchester Fencers Club

all are welcomed.  Bouting starts at 5:30 pm

and there is a $5 charge.  Refreshments will be provided.

Beginners Foil   9:00 - 10:15 am (By appointment only)

Beginners Fencing  10:15 - 11:30 pm

Intermediate Fencing 11:30 - 1:00 pm (Class Full)

Intermediate/Advanced and Adult Beginners 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Fencing for Beginners @ JCC of Rockland

beginners class held in conjunction with the JCC of Rockland.  This new program is designed for new fencers in order and will teach students how to fence safely.  A good foundation for students seeking higher level instruction.
