FAQ about the Beginners Package:

What is the Beginners Package?

The Beginners Package is designed as an introductory course that will teach the basics of fencing without the commitment and cost of full club membership.  $120 for five classes and one private lesson with no other associated fees.  Classes must be taken within a month and the fees are non-refundable.

 

Can I sign up for the Beginners Package more than once?

No.  The beginners package is good for one use.  The purpose is simply to provide you or your child with the opportunity to try fencing.  Our member pricing is the most competive in the area.

 

Which classes can I come to with the beginners package?

The package is good for beginners classes only.  We offer five beginners classes per week so taking six group and private lessons is easily.

 

Do I have to come only on prescheduled days?

You can come to any beginners class.  There are times in which the classes will be filled.  Please be courteous and ask if you can come to a different class than the one you elect (the answer is most likely yes.)

 

Do I have to purchase any equipment?

No.  We will provide beginners with equipment.  We believe that getting your foot in the door should not cost an arm and a leg.

 

Can I buy a Beginners Package as a gift?

Yes.  We offer a beutifully gift certificate designed by the Joseph Paterno Design Studio.  It makes a great gift.
